Yachting Award

The Yachting Award is granted to a member who exemplifies the purposes of the Club which are to promote and practice yachting, boating, sailing, navigation and seamanship, by way of recreating and helping provide facilities for social intercourse and entertainment of Seaford Yacht Club members.

The Yachting Award is a testament is why our members are the best part of Seaford Yacht Club. Our members are an integral part of building the community to promote and practice yachting, boating, sailing, navigation and seamanship. The award is not solely for sportsmanship (i.e., racing) and is open to all members of the Club. The Yachting Award is an ongoing, annual award given by SYC. The recipient will be recognized at the annual meeting and their name will be inscribed on a plaque at the Club.
